Jimboomba aged care home
Jimboomba is located in the Logan area of Brisbane. We install wallpaper throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast. This is our latest aged care wallpaper project. Having installed wallpaper to many other retirement home facilities in the past we would love to quote for you too. Besides installing wallpaper we also offer supply in all our quotes.
Wallpapered corridors
In late 2020 we completed this huge aged care wallpaper installation for Croft Developments. We hung an epic amount of wallpaper in this project; 4000M2 of wallpaper in the corridors alone. As shown in this video: Jimboomba
Throughout the corridors there featured a dado rail. There was a traditional floral pattern above and a striped pattern below. This ran the length of all the corridors throughout the facility. Both of these wallpapers were supplied by Hume Internationale
Residents rooms
Each of the 54 Signature bedrooms had a feature wall of wallpaper. As you can see they are a timeless unpatterned style. The wallpaper used in the rooms was a commercial use vinyl. This means it is washable and of hardwearing enduring quality suitable for a aged care center. It is usual for a high performance fabric like vinyl to be specified for a project like this. And so ensuring longevity of the product.
Wallpaper in Aged Care
For a retirement home it is important to make the place feel welcoming, nurturing and add a feeling of comfort. Wallpaper adds to that appearance reducing stark white walls and adding a warm colour with texture or pattern. Simultaneously creating an aesthetic that will help give a positive impact on the residents mental health.
