Talk about luxury interior inspiration for your long weekend! These hotels are the cream of the crop. They have awe inspiring wallpaper used in the grandest settings.

Saint James Paris

This playful wallpaper, custom-made for one of the hotel’s main staircases, was commissioned to interior decorator Bambi Sloan and features whimsical hot-air balloons and monkeys.

This neo-classic château in Paris, originally constructed in 1892, was turned into a wonderful playground of colours and textures.

Bambi Sloan says of the wallpaper, “The site was the runway from which the hot air balloons took off, so I took the site’s origins and I put it into my wallpapers… I also added monkeys”. – exert from Paul Dohertys interview for Luxury Design

Beverley Hills Hotel

It was 1942 when Don Loper designed the Martinique banana leaf wallpaper for the Beverley Hills hotel L.A. Some 80 years later this wallpaper is one of the world’s most recognizable and imitated wallpapers.

This now iconic wallpaper design perfectly encapsulates the laid back glam Californian style and is now seen in homes and hospitality interiors world wide.
